Mount Olive Baptist Church was started in the 1960's as a mission to reach the people of Anderson County, Tennessee. Now a thriving and growing church in the heart of South Clinton, Mount Olive Baptist Church's mission remains the same.
Our Pastor
Pastor Jaron Eagle has served as pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church since August 2025. He and his wife Christa were married in February 2009 and have four beautiful children: Kaylee, Abby, Judson, and Everlee.
Pastor Eagle was saved at the age of 18 and called of God to preach soon after his conversion. He has served in pastoral ministry since 2017 and has a heart for reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Eagle has earned degrees from Biblical Study Theological Seminary in Hiram, GA and Heritage Baptist College in Rossville, GA.
Pastor Emeritus
Pastor Clayton Duncan served as Pastor at Mount Olive Baptist Church from May 2000 until he retired in May 2025. Mount Olive Baptist is grateful for Pastor Duncan's years of faithfully preaching and teaching the Word of God and for his gracious care for the church.
Pastor Duncan and his wife, Mrs. Ann, are still actively attending and serving at Mount Olive Baptist Church. Pastor Duncan was honored as "Pastor Emeritus" on September 14, 2025 by Pastor Eagle and the congregation of the church.
